Lizzie (Eaton) was married to Paddy 'jockey' Murray who was a stable lad with the Osbornes on the Curragh and lived in Breffni Terrace .They had two children best known being her namesake Lizzie Murray.
Johnny McDonagh was an old Connaught Ranger who saw action during World War 1.Like many of the Rangers Johnny resigned his position when the British were seen to renege on a pre War promise of Home Rule for Ireland.He was married to Sarah and they also had two children one of whom (the boy) was blind.Softly spoken he was a genuine touigh hard man,he was not to be trifled with.King of the 'pitch and toss'.Lived at Saint Aidan's Terrace.Both Lizzie and Johnny are buried along with their Families in Cullies Cemetery

Courtesy of BLE Inter Club National Championships 1988 Billy O' Rourke and his dog Boomer bring home the news to 41 Wolfe Tone Street.Born in 1932 at 17 Lake View.Billy was a skilled tradesman and could turn his hand to any job big or small.Emigrated to England with his brother John but both of them returned to lend their considerable skills to P Elliott and Company who were then mainly involved in the building of Monasteries and Churches in the Sligo area.Loved to ramble in the countryside.He was an expert on all aspects of nature.Had a daily modest but well calculated punt on the horses-hence the paper.Married to Alice (Bailieborough), they had a family of two girls Rose and Bernadette and one boy Gerard.Brother of the well known John (Foley) O Rourke who gave sterling service to both the Harps and Cavan Gaels (Championship 1965) .Billy O Rourke died at Saint Christopher's Hospice on the 15th of November 2002 while his old faithful friend Boomer died on Friday 22nd of July 2005. Billy is buried along with his wife Alice in Saint Brigid's Cemetery Killygarry.
